Acorn Grant

Welcome to the 2026/2027 Acorn Grant program from The Indigo Oak Fund!

We appreciate your interest in our grant program, which is focused this year on supporting high school education in the Castle Rock community.

The application will open on October 1, 2026, and must be completed by December 1, 2026. We strongly encourage applicants to submit their applications before the deadline. Late applications will not be accepted, including in the event of technical difficulties.

The grant program is open to teachers, counselors, and administrators working with grades 9–12 at the following Castle Rock public high schools:

• Castle View High School
• Douglas County High School
• DC Oakes High School
• Renaissance Secondary School
• Colorado Early Colleges, Castle Rock

Applicants may apply for grants of up to $2,000 and may apply or co-apply on only one application.

Each application will have a single applicant who completes and submits the online application, but you may apply on behalf of yourself and a co-teacher, a teaching cohort, an entire grade, or something for school-wide use.

Our selection process is designed to be thorough and fair, with the goal of identifying projects that will make a meaningful contribution to students in our community. Our review committee will carefully evaluate all applications, considering their potential for long-term impact and enrichment of students’ education.

Applications will be evaluated using a blind review process.

Checks for awarded grants will be sent to schools by early January 2027. Recipients may use grant funds during the 2026/2027 school year or the 2027/2028 school year.

When the application is live, a link will be posted on this web page and sent to school leaders.
